Barbara Gutierrez is an accomplished leader with more than 30 years of experience in executive and financial leadership roles with high growth, entrepreneurial companies in a range of industries. She is a driver of strategy and sustained results in emerging organizations.

As a progressive executive leader, operational strategist, and trusted advisor, Barbara has directed and improved the financial operations of public, private equity and privately-held companies. Barbara has extensive experience with capital transactions, including initial public offerings (including as CFO in March 2021), capital raises from private equity sponsors and debt financings, M&A transactions, corporate strategy, regulatory compliance, risk management and international operations. Barbara has a track record of transformational leadership and demonstrated success streamlining business operations that drive growth and improve efficiency and profitability. She is accomplished in leading business critical initiatives and complex financing transactions.

Barbara began in her career in public accounting and since has worked in a diverse range of industries, including healthcare, higher education, technology, and energy services. Barbara currently serves as chief financial officer of InnovAge Holding Corp (NASD: INNV) and has served as chief financial officer and chief people services officer for Hero DVO, LLC, and in senior leadership roles with Strad Energy Services, Jones Knowledge Group, PhyCor and HealthOne.

Over the course of her career, Barbara has worked directly and in an executive capacity with boards and board committees. She has experience as a board member of Jones International University, board member and treasurer of Camp Fire Girls of Colorado, and corporate secretary for Strad Energy Services (TSX: SDY) and currently serves on the advisory board for the University of Denver School of Accountancy.

Barbara is a graduate, magna cum laude, of the University of Denver. She is a certified public accountant and chartered global management accountant, and a member of several professional societies, including the AICPA, COCPA, and FEI. Barbara was recognized as a 2021 Silver Winner Finance Executive of the Year. She is a graduate of the 2019/2020 Women’s Leadership Foundation Boardbound program. Barbara volunteers in her community at a local hospital, in schools and through her church.
